Hold it before you choose it.
The wall runs floor to ceiling: wool, cotton and linen from the best mills in Europe, including the same cloths the big fashion houses buy, and honest lower-priced options for when the budget matters more than the label. Ask what any of it is and you get a straight answer.
New York quality at a quarter of the price, and there are two reasons rather than a trick. The cloth comes in direct from the mills instead of through a fashion label’s markup, and every garment is made by hand by a small group of Thai families who have done this work for decades. Prices are posted in the shop, and they follow the cloth.

Tell us what it is for and how you like a jacket to sit, then we suggest the cloth.
Hotel fittings
We come to your hotel to measure and to fit, even over dinner when a flight is close.
Same day and rush
Shirts and trousers in a day, a suit in two to three. Rushed work costs a premium.
Sent to your door
To your hotel here, or by tracked courier home, with the number the day it ships.
Put right
If something is off, bring it back and we put it right. The balance waits for the fit.
03Three days
Measured Monday. Tried on Tuesday. Wearing it Wednesday.
You have three nights and you are counting them. So are we. Three is plenty for a suit, and more than enough for shirts and trousers.
Day one
Measure and choose.
We ask what it is for and how often you will wear it, then suggest two or three cloths and one cut. You are measured at the table, and your measurements go on file with your order number.
Day two
Try it on.
The jacket goes on you before it is finished. We pin the shoulder, the length and the leg, and change what you ask us to change.
Day three
Wear it home.
Try it on again. When it fits, you pay the balance and wear it home.
The usual turnaround is within three days. Need it sooner? Rushed options are available for a premium. Already flying home? We finish it and ship it to you.
04The fitting
Pinned on you.
The jacket goes on you before it is finished. Here is what that looks like.

Changed until it sits right
Shoulder, length, leg and seat are pinned on you at the try-on. We check them sitting as well as standing, and change what is off.

The balance waits for the fit
You leave a deposit for the cloth. You pay the rest when it fits, not when we say it is done.

A try-on even on a reorder
The second pair goes on you too, even when it is copied from the first. If something is off, bring it back and we put it right.
05The suit
Eight things a well-tailored suit gets right.
Ask how any jacket is built and you get a plain answer. Here is what to look for, on ours or anyone’s.

The shoulder
Natural, not padded like an airbag. Pinned on you at the first try-on.

The chest canvas
The layer inside that gives the chest its shape. Glued fronts go flat; canvas moves with you.

The lapel roll
A soft roll that stands on its own, pressed by hand, not ironed flat.

The sleeve head
Set so the sleeve hangs straight and the jacket stays put when you reach.

The button stance
Where the top button sits decides the whole line. It is set to your height, not a chart.

The pockets
Flapped or jetted, cut level, lined up with the button.

Working cuffs
Buttonholes you can open. Cut after the sleeve length is right, not before.

The hem at the knuckle, vents that sit closed when you stand.

One pair of trousers is a fine order.
Men’s and women’s, made to your measure. If you need one thing, we make one thing; nobody here is counting shirts. If what you want is not here, send a photo on WhatsApp and we will say whether we can make it well.

Two-piece or three, in wool for the office or linen for the heat. Tell us how you like a jacket to sit and we cut to that.

Wedding
A suit you will wear again. Navy, not a tuxedo, unless you want a tuxedo. Tell us the date and we work back from it.

Usually ready the next day. Bring the shirt you love and we make it again in three more colours.

A linen jacket for here, a wool coat for the flight home, a blazer that sits on your shoulders rather than beside them.

08Classy or crazy
Classy, or the loudest jacket in the room.
Most of what leaves the shop is quiet. Some of it is not, and that is just as much fun to make. Everything below is hanging in the shop right now. Bring a picture, an idea or a print you love, and we cut it properly either way, because a loud jacket still has to fit.
A money print
Cut and finished like any other jacket in the shop. The cloth is the joke, the tailoring is not.
A full skull suit
Jacket and trousers, matched right through the pattern. If you are going to do it, do it properly.
Palm leaves
The Chiang Mai answer to a dinner jacket, in a cloth light enough to actually wear in the heat.
Brocade and gold
Gold brocade, floral, and a grey shawl collar, all hanging on the rail at the same time.

When you fly home, we still answer.
Your measurements stay on file with your order number. Message the same WhatsApp from home with the number and what you want, and we make it again and post it. Repeat customers in Europe order this way.
We would rather you carry it home. When there is no time, you pay the balance when it is finished and we send the tracking number the day it ships. The try-on happens in your own mirror, and if something is off, tell us; we would rather fix it than argue.

11Questions
What people ask before they come in.
Plain answers. If yours is not here, ask on WhatsApp.
Is the fabric real, or will I get polyester sold as wool?
Ask, and we tell you the fibre and the weight of any roll, and if it is a blend we say blend. Hold it, take it to the light, burn a thread if you like. Nothing here is sold as wrinkle-free and delivered as polyester.
How do I know I am not getting ripped off?
Look us up on Google before you come; the reviews name Raj and Max and go back years. Nobody on the street or in a tuk-tuk is paid to bring you here. If you would rather test us first, order one shirt.
How long does it take, and how many fittings?
Shirts and trousers are usually next day, and a suit takes two to three days. You get as many fittings as it takes, and at least one before you pay the balance. For a suit, plan on a try-on the day after we measure and another at pick-up.
What does it cost?
Prices are posted in the shop, and they do not drop on the last day of an offer, because there is no offer. What moves the number is the cloth and the number of pieces. Ask on WhatsApp and you get a number.
Do I have to pay everything up front?
No. You leave a deposit for the cloth and pay the rest when you have tried it on and are happy. The receipt carries your name, your dates and your order number.
Can you ship it home if I run out of time?
We would rather you carry it home. If there is no time, you pay the balance when it is finished, we send it by tracked courier and you get the tracking number the day it ships. Customers in Europe reorder this way.
Where exactly are you? I cannot see you from the road.
In the courtyard off Changklan Road, inside the Night Bazaar, not on the street. Look for the sign kiosks by the road and walk in towards the open court; we are beside the Night Bazaar stairs. Message us for a pin, or tell us your hotel and we will come to you for the fitting.
Do you make women's clothes?
Yes. Dresses, jackets, shirts and trousers, and copies of a dress you already love. Bring it, or a photo, and we will say straight whether it is something we do well.
